Description:
THIS PIECE IS VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. PLEASE ALLOW MAXIMUM SHIPPING TIME.
The image was produced in a similar way as my Through the looking glass
collection
Ive used a mirrored technique and pearlescent painting processes behind the
image in order to capture light sources creating a truly luminescent
centerpiece.
It is very hard to show this luminescence in the photos, but by manipulating
extreme light sources it can be seen to some extent.
I have made this piece out of polymer clay that was wrapped around and
internal form, then cut along the sides releasing it from the form and
creating 2 hollow halves.
I then did my assemblage and painting and then sealed the two halves back
together.
With the pillowed hollow heart complete, I then filled the piece with hand
cast resin.
The piece is a bold and solid piece at about 2in. tall and 2in wide.
Strung on antique bronze chain (to match the antiqued portal window) with a
gorgeous Czech glass blood red flower.
All items are made to order and so may vary slightly from the images provided.
Please see my "shipping" link for shipping and labor time policies.
